You won't find a place here where you can see several hotels clustered in the same area. Which I think is great for those who want tranquility and peace the place offers.
Padang Matsirat has been the site of green padi field. This was the place where the villagers once burnt the rice fields in early 1800s when attacked by the Siamese. Even today, the entire area remains very quiet with several existing padi fields where you can see the green as far as you can view. And there are hotels that have come right next to such fields offering lots of greenery all around.
