Activities in Padang Matsirat, Langkawi
There are not many activities in Padang Matsirat. Tourists who prefer to stay in tranquil environment and surrounded by lush greenery, prefer to stay in this area. Since there are no public beaches, the watersport activities are virtually not available in Padang Matsirat other than from a private beach of a resort.
So what do you do if you plan to stay in this part of Langkawi? Actually Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah, the two greatest beaches of the island are only about 15 minutes driving distance away. Those places are the hub of all sorts of water based activities and boat tours. Other than that, Padang Matsirat itself has few great Spas just in case you want to spend the day relaxing while undergoing an authentic therapeutic treatment or massage.

Embun Spa
This is located inside the Langkawi Lagoon Reosrt and at the Sea Village where the chalets stand right on the water. With wonderful view of teh water and the Spa offers a tranquil and serene environment, and uses traditional Malay massage and local herbs and oils in the treatments. There is a range of treatments offered by the Spa. Other than the Hotel's own guests, the Spa can be availed by outside guests as well through advance booking.
Sunflower Spa
It's located in a wonderful garden setting with a pebbled pathway leading to the Spa from the backside of the 7 roof restaurant. Some of the signature treatments includes wine romance treatment, intimate nature package etc. Local herbs and oils are used.
