This small budget hotel is located on a side road off the main road in Cenang. If you preffer a quiet stay for couple of nights in a clean budget room with basic amenities and at the same time be close to the Cenang beach, then this motel can be a good choice.
The Pantai Cenang beach is only 5 minute walk. Being off the crowded beach area, the place is quiet. However choose a room away from the reception because the reception area can be noisy early in the morning as well as late at night as people keep checking in and checking out, or chat in that area.
Rooms & Amenities
There are two types of rooms in the motel - Standard and Family rooms. Standard rooms could have a queen bed or twin beds, while the family rooms have a queen bed and a single bed. All rooms have air-conditioning, fan, attached toilet with shower, a small desk, TV with limited channels etc.

However rooms in front next to the car parking area are newer units. They have newer equipment like air-conditioner, bathroom fittings etc. But these rooms are quite small, the bed takes up almost the entire space. However the rooms are clean and good enough for couple of nights.
There is no electric kettle or fridge in the rooms. You can walk down to the reception area and fill up your bottle with drinking water from the dispenser which is provided free. You can get both hot and cold water. So if you carry your own tea bags / coffee pouches, you can fill up your cup with hot water and make it yourself.

Although there is no in-house restaurant in the motel (it's a lodging only accommodation), there are plenty of them within minute's walking distance. While approaching the main road of Cenang you will come across several eateries. The main road (Jalan Pantai Cenang) is full of restaurants and bars of all types. There are also numerous tour operators on the main road.
The motel offers free wi-fi in the rooms and pubic areas. There is also a tour desk offering tours like Island Hopping boat tours, Around The Island tours by car etc. There is enough car parking.
What we like about the hotel
1) Its location is nice... near the
Cenang beach at the same in a quiet area. In about 5 minutes walk you can reach the main road and the beach is right across the road. Lots of restaurants & bars, the Cenang Mall, and even the
Underwater World are all within walking distance.
2) Staff are friendly and nice.
3) Rooms although small are clean, beds are comfortable.
4) If you do not go with much expectations, this is a good value for money hotel.
What can improve
1) WiFi can be slow and frustrating. Often it does not work.
2) While the staff are friendly, they should be trained to take the initiative of letting guests know the amenities offered, for example you may not initially know that hot and cold drinking water are provided free. Neither they offer any brochures or guidance about the island.
3) They clean the beds only once in 2 days, and that too if you ask for it.
4) In some rooms there is lack of maintenance. In some showers do not work properly. Some guests have also experienced that basic items like towels are not provided in time.

It may not be easy to find the hotel. Across the well known Chinese restaurant
Orkid Ria on the main road and right next to the Taxi stand, take the side road. It bifurcates shortly ahead. Keep to the left and you will find the hotel on your left shortly thereafter.
