Embun Day Spa
The best part of the spa is its ambience and surrounding. It's located at the Langkawi Lagoon resort and on chalet standing on stilt. It's actually similar to one of the guest rooms in a section of the resort known as Sea Village. Standing right on the water, expectedly the spa would offer sweeping view of the ocean and tranquility.
As you experience your massage or a treatment, you can look through the window to eternity. It's wonderful. There is also a VIP couple's room where two beds are laid side by side. They have both male and female therapists to apply the treatments.
If not a guest, you need to take a taxi to reach the resort and come to the lobby. The front desk will get you a cart with a driver to reach you to the spa. And while getting back to the lobby or to your room, the spa will ensure that you have a cart ready to return. Like all other premier resort spas, Embun too requires advance reservation.

Spa Treatments & Offerings
The spa offers a range of massages as well as body and facial treatments.
Massage
All massages in Embun come with a complimentary foot spa for 15 minutes using essential oils and done before the massage starts. The signature massage at Embun is the Traditional Oil Massage which is a deep tissue massage releasing muscle tension and fatigue. Another nice one to try is the Kampung Massage which originated from Malaysia's rural community many years back. It helps releasing tension & stress and normalizes the blood circulation.
One of my favorites here is the Hot Stone Massage which uses heated volcanic basalt stones that are kept on various points of the spine while a nice massage is applied to the body with oil. This is an ancient therapeutic treatment using long strokes. It eases out muscle tension and rejuvenates the entire body.
Several other massages are offered in the spa including Aromatherapy Massage, Foot Reflexology Massage, Sports Massage, Thai Massage, Swedish Massage etc.

Body Treatments
Several different types of scrubs and wraps are offered using vitamins, minerals and other ingredients that help detoxify the body, make the skin soft & smooth, and revitalize the body. Ginger Salt Scrub, Dead Sea Crystal Salt Scrub, Rose Salt Scrub, Mococa Body Scrub are few of them. Mococa Body Wrap is a full natural tropical spa experience.
Facial
Try out the DermaNew MicroDermabrasion Facial which boasts of being a much more gentle alternative to chemical or laser peeling for exfoliation. They claim to show results in just two minutes.
Indicative Costs
Other than usual treatments and massages, they have several combined packages. For example a package comprising of 30-minutes of Foot Reflexology, 1-hour of Traditional Massage and 1-hour of full body scrub costs RM179.
